Tears - A trilogy
Tears – A trilogy
I.
Today,
I cried,
I cried for nothing.
I broke loose,
for my tears,
the mirage of their chains.
Out they poured,
as children streaming out of schools
on a weekend,
still looking for a reason to be.
But, there were none.
II.
A small story,
Yours, mine.
Confined,
to a few lines.
Still fresh,
on a crumpled sheet of paper,
in my pocket,
its ink,
blotted with tears,
and imaginary fears.
III.
Parched earth,
Black clouds,
Semblance of hope,
Heavy winds,
Blown away…
Just a mirage?
crocodile tears?
