[Poem] and they met

At last they met
as the stars had set
Your forlorn eyes
and my confused mind

The clouds cried
as moments died
Too much to say
or nothing at all?

As the candle light
fought with the night
courage in place
you finally spoke

And, something broke
when you spoke
Was it silence
or was it my heart?
