[Poem] Demise
Silently, I return to mother earth’s womb
With neither flowers nor an epitaph on my tomb
The sea swells, waves cry my silent demise
A requiem erupts, it is elegiac, in my wisdom I surmise
With some golden memories perched atop
My soul flaps its wings to its next abode
Come here, sit by my grave and skim the crest
Some potent thoughts, for you, I bequest
Like the remains of vermillion in your hair astray
My memories may linger for a while until washed away
